Tablet compression and capsule filling revisited

May we introduce you to the TPR 700? 2024 is the first time that Syntegon has the largest tablet press of its TPR range at a North American show. This highly flexible double-sided tablet press can produce more than a million tablets per hour and is also suitable for bi-layer tablets with a set of conversion parts. And it doesn’t come alone. Syntegon is again showcasing its entire OSD portfolio, including the well-known GKF capsule fillers.

While the GKF 60 is an R&D capsule filling machine for highly potent applications, the GKF 1505 is designed for nutraceutical processes. Nutraceutical manufacturers benefit from the simple user interface as well as easy changeovers and cleanability. More than 500 Capsylon machines installed in North America in just over a decade with many repeat clients underline the popularity of the series.

Even more OSD capabilities on show

But the Syntegon experience for OSD development and manufacturing goes even further: “The Solidlab 2 product line allows for highly efficient fluid bed granulation, fluid bed coating, tablet drum coating, and more – all with one centralized air handler and control system,” as Alex Trombley, OSD Specialist at Syntegon, points out. The lab-scale equipment presented at Interphex can of course be scaled to Hüttlin production equipment.

Syntegon’s portfolio would not be complete without equipment for liquid fill/finish operations. At the booth, you will have the chance to explore a special immersive experience covering ready-to-use (RTU) as well as small and micro batch filling trends. “Join us for an all-access tour through the newly launched Annex 1-compliant Versynta microBatch, our achievement in automated fill/finish within a gloveless isolator. For example, the manual MIH-LX inspection hood features a programmable inspection time/pacing system, as well as height-adjustable lighting and background.
