An Italian customer produces freshly crafted pasta such as ravioli, gnocchi, and tortellini. Syntegon has been the preferred supplier for vertical packaging machines, including after-sales service offerings, for many years. Until recently, our customer purchased spare parts kits and ordered field service engineers separately to carry out the annual maintenance of their 30 production lines. They realized that this was leading to higher administration efforts and increasing the complexity of their maintenance strategy. Hence, the pasta producer turned to Syntegon to take care of the annual inspection and overhaul their equipment in a seamless, easy, and automated way.

Our Service Solution

  • A Service Agreement level 4 perfectly fits this customer’s needs.
  • It includes one inspection and one overhaul per year for all Syntegon machines installed in the different production plants.
  • All parts needed for the annual overhaul are included and delivered automatically.
  • A personal Contract Fulfilment Manager is assigned to organize interventions and spare parts delivery.
  • In 2024, the Service Agreement was extended to include the cloud-based software solution Synexio. It monitors production data and performs alarm trend analyses.
