Ideal for the capsule filling of health & nutrition products

GKF 705

Our low-speed capsule filling machine doses sticky or fine-grained powders precisely at outputs of between 3,000 and 42,000 capsules per hour, making it especially suitable for nutraceutical products.

GKF 1505

This medium-speed capsule filling machine doses sticky or fine-grained powders precisely at outputs of up to 92,000 capsules per hour for commonly available capsule sizes.

GKF 3005

Our high-speed capsule filling machine is especially suited for nutraceutical, sticky or fine-grained powders. It achieves an output of up to 175,000 capsules per hour.

GKF 6005

This high-speed capsule filling machine and latest addition to the GKF Capsylon series is your ideal partner to increase production capacity, improve product efficiency and reduce unit dosage cost at an output of up to 360,000 capsules per hour.

All GKF platforms are optionally available with our patented slide-gate technology. It reduces product loss and increases yield significantly. Besides minimizing the dust impact of the product in the machine, the slide-gate system also offers the possibility to run pellets or granules on the same dosing station.

Performance capsule handling process

The special Syntegon pick-up pins make sure the empty capsule is gently handled and thoroughly fed into the empty capsule segments. Non-seperated capsules are automatically rejected and extracted during the further capsule handling process prior to the ejection station. Closing of the filled capsules is supported by our concave-shaped closing pins, which prevent damage to the final product.

The GKF Capsylon series is suited for powder, pellets and granules, ranging from typical nutraceutical products, such as herbs or vitamins, to pharmaceutical products such as powder, pellets, granules, or even special products with fluffy, sticky, abrasive, fibrous, or other properties.

Why capsule sealing?

Capsule sealing with banding technology ensures the highest product quality and prevents liquid-filled capsules from leakage. Banding also provides an additional measure for anti-counterfeiting of capsules filled with powder or other components. Sealing provides an enhanced safety measure to meet regulatory requirements. Our Syntegon GKB 2100 banding machine can handle both hard gelatine and HPMC (plant-based) capsules.

The new GKB 2100 features a particularly robust and flexible process, combined with the highest yield and maximum process stability. The focus is on user-friendliness, as well as very good accessibility for cleaning and easy format part changeovers. Our banding machine achieves an output of up to 125,000 capsules per hour.
